Property Tax Rate That Exceeds Voter-Approval Rate or No-New-Revenue Rate: Prominently display on the Home Page of the website a completed Texas Comptroller’s Office Form 50-212, Notice of Tax Rates, or Form 50-757, Small Taxing Unit Notice (whichever applies to the taxing unit), from the date the notice is first published in the newspaper until the public hearing is concluded.

Property Tax Revenue Increase: For entities that adopt a tax rate that increases the amount of taxes to fund maintenance and operation expenditures imposed for that purpose in the preceding year, the taxing unit must add the following statement to its website upon adoption: (1) “(Name of taxing unit) ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR'S TAX RATE”; and (2) if the tax rate exceeds the no-new-revenue maintenance and operations rate: “THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE SET TO (0.10 per $100) AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $100.”
